“Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and turn away from evil.” (Proverbs 3:7)
Norman Woods, director of South Dakota Family Voice, provides great insight, when he exposes ‘Cultural Marxism’. Traditional Marxism depends on creating a victim. It attempts to pit the poor working man against the rich elite. However, it can’t find a foothold in the United States. The American middle-class working man doesn’t buy into it. In light of this, in order to find a victim, one had to be created. Racism, gender identity, LGBTQ, women’s productive rights, and a host of other false inequity issues have been ginned up to create Cultural Marxism. The Kingdom of the Church and Christians are in their crosshairs as Enemy Number 1!
The national proclamation of June being ‘Pride Month’ is a prime example. The entertainment industry, media outlets, liberal church bodies, educational institutions, business organizations, and community endeavors have quickly gotten in lock-step with their perverted objectives. Through intimidation, the Pride Movement has quickly and effectively silenced the voices of opposition. Underlying corporate greed has also fueled their support. Sadly, due to threats of legal action, Bible believing churches and institutions, to a large extent, have been silent. In addition, many Christians have family members who have chosen a perverse lifestyle. Rather than speaking the truth in love, a false loyalty to family unity has trumped their Godly conviction. Once again the sin of silence prevails.
Right in the center of this abomination is the desecration of God’s hallowed rainbow. Cultural Marxism abuses the symbol of God’s covenant love. It glorifies the very wickedness that brought about God’s judgment. Proverbs 30:12 describes their wicked pride… “There is a kind who is pure in his own eyes, yet is not washed from his filthiness.” Those who have chosen a perverse lifestyle and those who support their cause are blinded by their own evil pursuits. “Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes and clever in their own sight!” (Isaiah 5:21)
Thankfully there is hope. Followers of Christ must declare every month Humility Month. “And My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14) God alone is able to heal our land. First in prayer, we seek after God and speak to Him. Then, speaking the truth in love, we boldly proclaim the liberating Gospel of Christ to those within our circle of influence. “But He gives a greater grace. Therefore it says, “God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” (James 4:6)By His grace, in humility we will be wise in the eyes of God and agents of healing in our land.
